The room was spacious and clean, albeit a little strangely laid out. A light at the entrance was on a sensor and it went off and on every time we moved in the room. Disconcerting in the middle of the night. The bathroom was equally strange. The sink and toilet were at one end of a long very thin room. Far away at the other end was the shower. The first day we got clean towels. The young man took out the wet ones. The second day we got clean towels. The wet ones stayed in the bathroom. I just have the feeling things were not as well tended to as the reviews indicated.SSSSS

Excellent B & B, couldn't fault it.
Above a very good restaurant that served me excellent breakfasts.
The friendly owners pointed me in the direction of excellent restaurants, nightlife and local amenities.
A perfect base for the Ring of Kerry etc.
I would have no hesitation in returning.

Right in town and quiet.
Nice hotel style room
Would've liked a larger bed for my spouse and myself, but it may have made the room cramped I missed our King sized at home
Very communicative and accommodating SSSSS

We enjoyed staying at Virginias Guesthouse very much. It was very convenient to all the things we wanted to see. The downtown area is so nice too! We loved the food at the cafe below Virginias.
Neil went out of his way to help us get to where we wanted to go for the day, when the bridge closed unexpectedly. That was great service!!!! SSSSS

I was advised to try and get a room in Virginias by a Kenmare local and I must say Virginias didn't disappoint. A great room with comfy bed and a bath too which is a big plus for me. Right in the heart of Kenmare the location was great and not far from anywhere, in fact you don't even need to go outside to get the best coffee in the county in the cafe downstairs. Friendly welcome from the ever helpful proprietor. Astonishing value for money and will confidently recommend to anyone looking for good accommodation in Kenmare. SSSSS

Very clean and well appointed room. Very comfortable bed and nice facility. The BnB is perfectly located, just a short walk from the center of town and the Scilly walk to Charles' Fort. Breakfast was delicious and Phil was very welcoming.SSSSS

We stayed two nights at Virginias Guesthouse in March. We were warmly welcomed by Neil who was helpful throughout our stay. The restaurant downstairs was delicious and easy to get breakfast. We liked the location right in town. SSSSS
